We’re joining forces with ALNAP to call on all humanitarians to use February 29 as a #DayforLearning.
Recent research from ALNAP, the global humanitarian learning initiative, found that 46% of humanitarians cited a lack of time and capacity as the main barrier to accessing and using knowledge and evidence to improve humanitarian action.
CHL Director, Associate Professor Mary Ana McGlasson, is proud to support the #DayofLearning initiative to encourage more humanitarians to unlock their learning potential to help tackle the challenges facing the world today.
We know humanitarian and crisis responders are always pressed for time, so I loved ALNAP’s initiative to use this extra day to invest in learning! We encourage everyone to take time out to enrol in a short course or read a journal article.
