Mamadou Diop has a degree in public health and development and in humanitarian leadership with a rich and diverse career in the private sector and international cooperation.

Mamadou has worked for nearly 20 years in West and Central Africa in prevention and management of undernutrition, food security, advocacy, finance, as well as on strengthening the resilience of vulnerable populations and in emergency responses. With his experience and expertise in the region, he has been involved in the development and implementation of several mission strategies in the region.

He is currently the Regional Representative for West and Central Africa for Action Against Hunger, after having worked as Country Director, Administrative, Financial, Human Resources and Logistics Coordinator in several Sahel countries for the same organisation.
